We’re Vi and Việt—two friends who share a passion for art, music, and design. What started as long conversations about creativity and slowing down has become our little corner of the world: Bònsbons—a glassware brand that celebrates Vietnamese culture and the quiet rituals that make everyday life feel like a Nujabes track.
Our debut piece is the original glass phin—a reimagining of Vietnam’s iconic coffee filter; merging timeless tradition with modern design sensibility.
The act of making coffee should be just as beautiful as drinking it. Something that you savor. If you’ve ever sat with a phin, you know the ritual: the slow drip, the anticipation, the pause before that first sip. It’s coffee that doesn’t rush you. Coffee that insists you stay awhile.
Transparent, minimal, and sculptural—our phin is equal parts brewing tool and design object. It’s a piece for those who believe good design should make daily life a little slower, a little calmer, a little more beautiful.
Spiritually, it’s an ode to home. To where the heart resides and comfort lies. Where the noise serenades and silence roams. To the early mornings that stretch just long enough for conversation. To the idea that beauty can be found in something as ordinary as making coffee.
